25.Sensor Unit Scheduler

In this post I'll show about the sensor unit scheduler.Sensor unit is a part of the home automation unit.

Sensor unit scheduler , what it does is , it schedules the sensor unit to turn on / turn off.As per this schedule only it works.This application is located in the device scheduler window.

 This sensor unit works as two shifts and those are,

• Morning shift
• Night shift 

So basically what this application does is set the timings for these two shifts.

Morning Shift 

To set the timings for morning shift we need to follow these steps, 

1.Selecting hour for shift start 

By clicking this drop-down list we can select the hour to start the shift. 

2.Selecting minute for shift start 

By clicking this drop-down list we can select the minute to start the shift. 

3.Selecting hour for shift end 

By clicking this drop-down list we can select the hour to start the shift. 

4.Selecting minute for shift end 

By clicking this drop-down list we can select the minute to start the shift.

Night Shift 

To set the timings for night shift we need to follow these steps, 

5.Selecting hour for shift start 

By clicking this drop-down list we can select the hour to start the shift. 

6.Selecting minute for shift start 

By clicking this drop-down list we can select the minute to start the shift. 

7.Selecting hour for shift end 

By clicking this drop-down list we can select the hour to start the shift. 

8.Selecting minute for shift end 

By clicking this drop-down list we can select the minute to start the shift.

9.Saving the settings. 

After select all the timings for the shift starts & shift ends , we can save those by click this button.

24.Device Scheduler

In this post I'll show you about the device scheduler & how it works.

By using this application , we can make schedules for the automation unit to , switch on / switch off the devices automatically.Now I'll describe below , how to  make schedules.

1.Activating

To activate the automation unit schedules , we need to click this option.

Making A Schedule

To make a schedule we need to follow these steps.

2.Adding device

By clicking this drop-down list , we need to select the device which we are going to add.

3.Selecting hour

By clicking this drop-down list , we need to select the hour to the schedule.

4.Selecting minute 

By clicking this drop-down list , we need to select the minute to the schedule.

5.Selecting meridian 

By clicking this drop-down list , we need to select the meridian to the schedule.

6.Selecting repetition 

By clicking this drop-down list , we need to select the repetition to the schedule.

7.Selecting status 

By clicking this drop-down list , we need to select the status of the device to the schedule. 

8.Add the record

After select all the options as above , we need to add the record to the schedule by clicking this button.

9.Schedule List

In here we can see all the schedules which have added to the system.

10.Delete records

To delete any schedule , we need to select the record from the schedule list , and click this button.

23.Device Controller

In this post I'll show you about the device controller.To use this application we need to have the home automation unit which will show in future posts.

This application also located in the quick launch panel.And I'll show you how it works.

1.Serial Connection

If we want to connect the home automation unit with the application via a data cable , we need to select this option.

2.Wireless Connection

If we want connect the home automation unit with the application via Wi-Fi , we need to select this option.Before we select this option we need to power up the automation unit & set the IP address of the unit in the automation settings.

3.Switches

After we select an above option , it will connect with the home automation unit.Then by clicking this buttons , we can switch on / switch off the electrical devices.

22.Message Encryptor - Decryptor

In this post I'll show about the message encrypt-decrypt application.We can use this for secret messaging or to encrypt the confidential data.

As following image , this application is located in the quick launch panel.And when we click the icon as follow , it will open the application as below.

Encrypting a Text

To encrypt a text , first we need to type the text int the editor pane(1). Then click the encrypt(2) button.And it will open another window for set a password for the encryption as below.

After we set the password click the OK button.Then it will show the encrypted message as below.

We can select & copy this encrypted message.

Decrypting a Text

To decrypting a text , we need to copy the encrypted message into editor pane(1).

Then click the decrypt button(2). Then it will open another window for asking the decrypt code.

In here we have to give the same code which we used to give in encryption.Then click the OK button.

Then it will decrypt the message & show the original text in the editor pane.

21.Folder Locker

In this post I'll show about the folder locker & how to use it.

As following image folder locker's shortcut is located in the quick launch panel.The benefits of this application are ,

• Can create a locker folder in anywhere
• Can create more than 1 locker & each can lock with a separate password
• Able to zip the files or the folders which adds to the locker

There are two methods to lock the filed & those are,

• High secured mode (HSM)
• Low secured mode(LSM)

High Secured Mode(HSM)

In HSM , it copies all the selected files into the locker folder & zips all the files.Then merge an image to the zipped file.And lock the folder with a password.This method takes much time to complete the process & the duration depends with the quantity of files which we have selected.

This is the way to execute this method,

1.Selecting a location

First we need to select a location to create the locker .By clicking this button we can select a location & create the locker.

2.Adding files

By clicking this button , we can select the files which need to lock.

3.Selecting an image

To merge an image , we need to click this button & select any image.

4.Image preview

After we select an image , it will show in here.

5.Lock the locker

After we do the following steps , we can lock the locker by clicking this button.And it will open another window as below.

 

In here we need to give any password in the password filed.Then click the "OK" button to lock the locker.


Low Secured Mode(LSM) 

In LSM , it copies all the selected files into the locker folder & and lock the folder with a password.This method takes less time to complete the process.

This is the way to execute this method,

1.Selecting a location 

First we need to select a location to create the locker .By clicking this button we can select a location & create the locker. 

2.Adding files 

By clicking this button , we can select the files which need to lock. 

5.Lock the locker

After we do the following steps , we can lock the locker by clicking this button.And it will open another window as below.

 

In here we need to give any password in the password filed.Then click the "OK" button to lock the locker.

6.Unlock the locker

We can unlock the locker by clicking this button.Then it will open another window for asking the locker's password.

In here we need to give the password which we entered to lock the locker , in the password filed.Then click the "OK" button to unlock the locker. 

7.Delete the locker 

To delete locker we need to click this button.
Then it will open another window for asking the locker's password.

In here we need to give the password which we entered to lock the locker , in the password filed.Then click the "OK" button to delete the locker.

8.Status

In here it show the status of the locker & the every process
