In this post I'll show about the folder locker & how to use it.
As following image folder locker's shortcut is located in the quick launch panel.The benefits of this application are ,
- Can create a locker folder in anywhere
- Can create more than 1 locker & each can lock with a separate password
- Able to zip the files or the folders which adds to the locker
There are two methods to lock the filed & those are,
- High secured mode (HSM)
- Low secured mode(LSM)
High Secured Mode(HSM)
In HSM , it copies all the selected files into the locker folder & zips all the files.Then merge an image to the zipped file.And lock the folder with a password.This method takes much time to complete the process & the duration depends with the quantity of files which we have selected.
This is the way to execute this method,
1.Selecting a location
First we need to select a location to create the locker .By clicking this button we can select a location & create the locker.
2.Adding files
By clicking this button , we can select the files which need to lock.
3.Selecting an image
To merge an image , we need to click this button & select any image.
4.Image preview
After we select an image , it will show in here.
5.Lock the locker
After we do the following steps , we can lock the locker by clicking this button.And it will open another window as below.
Low Secured Mode(LSM)
In LSM , it copies all the selected files into the locker folder & and lock the folder with a password.This method takes less time to complete the process.
This is the way to execute this method,
1.Selecting a location
First we need to select a location to create the locker .By clicking this button we can select a location & create the locker.
2.Adding files
By clicking this button , we can select the files which need to lock.
5.Lock the locker
After we do the following steps , we can lock the locker by clicking this button.And it will open another window as below.
6.Unlock the locker
We can unlock the locker by clicking this button.Then it will open another window for asking the locker's password.
In here we need to give the password which we entered to lock the locker , in the password filed.Then click the "OK" button to unlock the locker.
7.Delete the locker
To delete locker we need to click this button.
Then it will open another window for asking the locker's password.
In here we need to give the password which we entered to lock the locker , in the password filed.Then click the "OK" button to delete the locker.
8.Status
In here it show the status of the locker & the every process
