In this post I'll show you about the wireless home automation unit & how to make one.
In this automation unit there are two parts.And they are ,
- Control Unit
- Sensor Unit
Control Unit
This is the main part of the automation unit.And this unit connects with the speech recognition system via wi-fi / data cable.This unit handles 8 electronic devices which control by the speech recognition system.And handles 7 lights which control by the sensor unit.
To make this unit we need below part list.
- Arduino Nano - 1
- ESP8622(ESP-01) wi-fi module - 1
- NRF24L01 RF transceiver - 1
- 8 channel 5v relay module - 2
- 74HC595 shift register - 2
- I2C OLED display - 1
- 5V to 3.3V dc-dc converter - 1
- Prototyping board - 1
- 7812 regulator - 1
- Male headers & Female headers
- Wires
- Led
- Soldering Iron
After we get these parts we can make the control unit of the wireless home automation unit.Before assemble this unit we need to know about all the components & we need to configure the wi-fi module to compatible with this unit.
